Trauma Therapy
in New Jersey and Online Across NJ and PA
You’ve done the insight work, but something deeper still hurts - This might be where the healing begins
You might not have called it trauma at first. Maybe you just knew that certain things felt too big.
That your body reacted before your mind could make sense of it and that you shut down, overfunctioned, or lost parts of yourself in relationships.
You may have already explored your past, made sense of the patterns, and gained a lot of insight, but still feel stuck in the same emotional loops.
That’s not because you’re doing something wrong. It’s because trauma doesn’t live in your thoughts. It lives in your body and talk therapy alone often can’t reach it.
Trauma Can Make Life Difficult
Do any of the following sound like you?
Trauma doesn’t always look dramatic. It often shows up in the quiet ways you disappear from yourself.
Healing is possible not by forcing, but by listening
Trauma doesn’t have to define your story. There’s more available to you than just coping, There is healing.
Trauma therapy is body-based, relational, and deeply attuned
I don’t believe in forcing insight or rushing your process. I believe in slowing down, noticing the wisdom of your body, and working with what’s actually showing up - not just what makes sense on paper.
We’ll work with modalities like somatic therapy and EMDR, which allow your body to complete old survival responses in safe, manageable ways.
Sessions might include movement, grounding practices, or simply noticing sensation. We’ll follow what your system is ready for, without judgment or pressure.
And throughout it all, I’ll be with you not as an expert who “fixes” you, but as a collaborator who trusts your innate capacity to heal.
create. explore. use. reconnect.
How Trauma Therapy Works
1
Create safety through relationship
Before we go deep, we build trust. You get to show up exactly as you are, dysregulated, shut down, uncertain, and be met with warmth, humor, and steadiness.
2
Explore trauma patterns through curiosity, not shame
Together we’ll make sense of your survival strategies, not to judge them, but to understand their brilliance and begin to soften their grip.
3
Use the body to release what talking can’t touch
Through somatic work and EMDR, we’ll gently invite your nervous system into new ways of being without reliving the trauma.
4
Reconnect with the self you’ve always been
Healing doesn’t mean becoming someone new. It means coming home to who you were before the trauma and who you are becoming now.
invite new possibilities
