  • Taryn Mazzuca, MSW, LCSW

My name is Taryn Mazzuca and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have a Bachelor’s in Social Work from Centenary College and a Master’s in Social Work from Rutgers University. Most of my career has been spent working with children and families with a special focus on adoption. Through a trauma informed and attachment based lens, I work with individuals, children, adults and families who present with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and parenting issues. I use a variety of therapeutic approaches based on the needs of my clients and their desired outcomes for therapy.

I have experience providing individual and family counseling. I am trained in ARC and ARC Grow. ARC is a framework for working with traumatized youth and their caregiving systems focusing on attachment. ARC Grow is the caregiver component which is a skill building program designed to improve outcomes for families impacted by trauma. I believe therapy should be a collaborative process to help individuals gain insight into personal strengths. I also believe that finding the right therapist is essential and will work with you to ensure a good fit.

It is important to me to ensure the clients I work with feel valued, respected and nurtured as they work to achieve their therapeutic goals and live their lives to their fullest potential.
